1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Schedoon to manage appointments, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Schedoon. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
By creating an account and using our platform, you agree to:
- Take accountability for scheduled appointments
- Ensure accuracy of client information
- Pay any applicable fees as per your contracted plan
- Follow our community guidelines and ethical business practices
2. Key Functionalities
2.1 Appointment Management
As a service provider using our platform, you are responsible for:
- Confirming, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments in a timely manner
- Notifying clients of any changes to their appointments
- Maintaining calendar data integrity and accuracy
- Ensuring that client information is kept confidential and secure
2.2 Payments
Our payment structure includes:
- Transaction fees: 2.9% per paid appointment
- Monthly or annual recurring billing depending on your selected plan
- Potential additional charges for premium features or add-ons
All payments are processed securely through our trusted payment providers. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and ensuring sufficient funds are available for automatic renewals.
3. Cancellations
Our platform enforces the following cancellation policies:
- Customers can cancel appointments via the app up to 24 hours in advance without penalty
- Establishments must honor their stated rescheduling and cancellation policies
- Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to fees as determined by each service provider
Service providers are responsible for clearly communicating their specific cancellation policies to clients. Our platform facilitates this communication but does not set individual business policies.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide a reliable service, Schedoon is not responsible for:
- Schedule conflicts due to human error or incorrect information entry
- Problems arising from integrations with third parties (e.g., Google Calendar)
- Financial losses due to technical failures or service interruptions
- Disputes between service providers and their clients
- Loss of business or revenue resulting from platform downtime
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by you for our services in the preceding 12 months.
5. Intellectual Property
All content that you create, upload, or generate using our platform belongs to you. However, Schedoon retains ownership of:
- Our software, code, and platform infrastructure
- Our branding, logos, and marketing materials
- Our proprietary scheduling algorithms and AI systems
You grant us a limited license to display your business information for the purpose of facilitating appointments and promoting your services within our platform.
6. Changes to Terms
Schedoon reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes:
- We will notify users via email of significant changes
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the terms
- We may require re-acceptance of terms for continued use of our services
Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of our terms
- We reserve the right to discontinue services with reasonable notice
Upon termination, you will lose access to our services, though you may request an export of your data within 30 days of account closure.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in São Paulo, Brazil.
